International Patient Program August 24, 2012

Hypothalamic Hamartomas are rare and affect individuals throughout the United States and other countries around the world. Finding an experienced medical professional can be difficult due to the rarity of this condition and the complexity and variety of symptoms associated with it. Many times, patients diagnosed with a HH or suspected of having a HH must cross international borders to seek the best care.

Traveling to a foreign country adds to the stress and complication for the patients and their caregivers, which is often overwhelming. At Barrow, we understand the need to facilitate proper diagnostic tests and appropriate treatment in a streamlined and comprehensive manner. This allows you and your family to focus on the treatment and recovery process rather than logistics.

Please check out our International Patient Program for more information.
