Hypothalamic Hamartomas are rare brain malformations and frequently go undiagnosed until symptoms are severe and life altering. Many physicians and medical facilities will never see a patient that suffers from this condition. Therefore, it is crucial that patients and their families seek out experienced teams of specialists to care for them.

As a Center of Excellence for this condition, the Barrow Hypothalamic Hamartoma (HH) Center offers complimentary access to our experienced specialists via remote evaluations for patients. Our HH Center co-exists at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center for patients 18 years of age and older & Phoenix Children’s Hospital for those 17 years of age & younger.

Our team conferences are held on a monthly basis and only require specific medical records and MRI scan be sent to the program coordinator in advance. This is an opportunity to obtain an initial diagnosis or a second opinion in addition to treatment recommendations from a qualified medical team. Please click on the links below to view our pediatric and adult HH specialists.
