Research on the Horizon…………….. February 6, 2013

Posted by mvarlan in Uncategorized.

Under the direction of John Kerrigan, MD, Co-Director of the Barrow Hypothalamic Hamartoma Center, we are currently collecting data for three research projects regarding HH patients who have been treated at the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI). The categories of the projects include Gamma Knife (GK) treatment, “Giant” HH lesions, and endocrine function before & after surgery. If you feel you may meet the criteria below, please contact me to be included in the cohort.
**All those included in these studies must have been treated at BNI**

• Patients treated with Gamma Knife (GK) radiation (with or without other treatment)
• Patients who had multiple treatments (surgeries and/or GK)

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Glad to see new research going well on. Never heard of this one, but sounds awful.
